Ballater Post Office is situated in Netherley Place, a turning off Bridge Street (the main A93 Aberdeen to Braemar road), in the centre of the village. Please click here for a map of Ballater.

Our usual opening hours are 09.00 until 17.30 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 09.00 until 12.30 on Thursday and Saturday.

Services

We provide a wide range of Post Office services, including Post Office Card Account, Motor Vehicle Licencing, Travel Insurance and Commission Free Foreign Currency.

Various Envelopes, including white and manilla in many sizes, air mail envelopes, board backed envelopes, a large range of padded envelopes and vinyl envelopes, and posting boxes.

Greeting Cards, including Birthday, Christmas, Valentines, Easter, New Year and many others. We stock ranges of cards and pictures produced by local artists and photograpers, including Howard Butterworth.

Wrapping Paper, parcel paper, bubble wrap, parcel tape, posting tubes and boxes.

Pens and Pencils, drawing instruments, note books and pads, rubbers and a similar full range.

Ring Binders, box files and lever arch files.

Various Postcards, both plain white and picture. featuring spectacular local views.

Banking

A full range of banking services is available at Ballater Post Office. We are able to accept both cash and cheque deposits for most major banks, particularly Clydesdale and Lloyds TSB. We are also pleased to offer cash withdrawals to customers with the approriate plastic debit card.
